Ellanse is the first dermal filler which offers a safe, unique, tunable longevity, specifically designed for the field of aesthetic medicine and surgery with the result lasting from two to four years.

Dermal Fillers can be used in combination with Sculptra which stimulate collagen growth over time, and can achieve results lasting up to three to five years.

 The Treatment

Injectable dermal fillers are safe, biodegradable products placed under the skin at various depths to turn back the clock by adding a youthful volume to the face. They are also used to sculpt the face addressing a variety of structural issues as well as softening wrinkles. Most patients need one treatment to achieve optimal wrinkle smoothing.

The procedure for Dermal Fillers is quick, often lasting just ten to fifteen minutes. Many patients experience no pain at all or minimum discomfort. There is no recovery time needed, patients can resume their normal activities right after the treatment.

Dermal Fillers are gently injected into the required area and hydrate the skin. It also has antioxidant qualities which provide instantly smoother skin. The results last between 6-24 months.

The results of a Dermal Fillers treatment can be seen instantly and as the treatment is non-surgical there is minimal downtime.

Injections may cause some discomfort during and after the procedure. The smooth consistency gel of Dermal Fillers allows your doctor to administer easily and smoothly.</p>

Most side effects are mild or moderate in nature, and their duration is short lasting (three days or less).

The most common side effects include, but are not limited to, temporary injections site reactions, such as, redness, pain/tenderness, firmness, swelling, lumps/bumps, bruising, itching, and discoloration. As with all skin injection procedures, there is a risk of infection.

Dermal Fillers Safety

Dermal Filler injectable hyaluronic acid gel is the first FDA-approved. Dermal Fillers are next-generation, non-animal dermal fillers that which are made from hyaluronic acid – a naturally occurring substance that plays a vital role in hydrating the skin and replenishing its natural volume.

No allergy skin tests are needed prior to receiving treatment. Dermal Filler injectable gel is FDA-approved hyaluronic acid dermal filler proven safe and effective in all skin types.

Dermal fillers offer a safe and effective non-surgical option for smoothing facial wrinkles and folds. In fact, they are the fastest growing non-surgical aesthetic procedure worldwide, according to the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, however, all dermal fillers are not the same.

Studies with Dermal Fillers showed no increased risk of hyperpigmentation or hypertrophic scarring in patients of colour. And it can help with deep folds around the mouth and nose, sunken cheeks, facial scars, deep acne scars and loose skin.

In addition to its use as an aesthetic treatment, hyaluronic acid has also been used for more than 40 years for the injection into arthritic joints, to aid movement, as well as, for eye surgeries and wound repair. ‘Uncross-linked hyaluronic acid in its natural form is in a liquid state. ‘Cross-linking’ is the process, through which, hyaluronic acid is made into a gel product that can be injected into the skin for long-lasting results.

At our clinic Dr Ayham Al-Ayoubi, uses only the well proven, safe and biodegradable dermal fillers. Patients travel from all over the UK and from around the world to have Dr Ayoubi perform Dermal fillers treatments at our Clinic, which is one of the leading Dermal Fillers training centers in the UK and Europe.

Dermal Fillers FAQS

The answer to some of the most common questions patients may have about Dermal Fillers.

It’s common for patients to have questions about the aesthetic treatments and at the London Medical and Aesthetic Clinic, it is essential for us that all our patients should feel confident, knowledgeable and comfortable at every stage of their journey of their treatments at our clinic.

To help our patients finding the answers they need, here are a few of the most common questions that we find our patients frequently asked:

How can I remove lumps which have developed after dermal filler injection?

It is rare to develop long lasting lumps after Dermal filler injection treatment, unless it was injected superficially and the Doctor used the incorrect type of filler for the treatment area.
Mr Ayoubi has seen some cases of patients who been referred to him with concerns of having lumps after dermal fillers or fat injected into the Glabella area. To treat these lumps, we should firstly establish what type of dermal fillers have been injected.
The majority of dermal fillers belong to a group called Hyaluronic acid based fillers, which is not difficult to treat with injection of Hyaluronidase combined with a steroid, which will dissolve the Hyaluronic acid lumps in most cases. If permanent fillers such as calcium-based fillers or long-lasting fillers such as Ellanse have been used and created the lumps, then it will be much more challenging to dissolve and most likely they will need to be removed surgically by a facial plastic surgeon.
