Cosmetic News Expo 2011
The second annual Cosmetic News Expo took place at the Business Design Centre in Islington, London, on 6 and 7 May 2011.
It offered aesthetic practitioners an exclusive chance to learn from some of the brightest minds in the industry and gain CPD accredited education.

Launched in April 2010, the Cosmetic News Expo is one of the popular UK’s trade show and educational meeting for the medical aesthetics industry.
Following the success of our inaugural event, we looked forward to the 2011 Expo, which took place at the Business Design Centre in Islington, London, on 6 and 7 May 2011.
Bringing together the industry’s key Surgeons, doctors, manufactures and suppliers, the Cosmetic News Expo was a must visit for those new to the industry who are trying to source suppliers, as well as busy practitioners who want to be able to see all their reps under one roof.
Sponsored by SkinCeuticals and Galderma (Platinum Sponsors) and Merz Aesthetics (Silver Sponsor), the event showcased the latest products and treatments on the market.
The highlights of the programme included a lecture on the latest developments in body contouring and Smartlipo Triplex by Dr Ayham Al-Ayoubi.
Other important highlights included a Facial Aesthetics Master class with renowned Italian aesthetic plastic surgeon Professor Giuseppe Sito, a lecture and live demonstration on a Full Facial Approach to Aesthetics b, a presentation and live demonstration on botulinum toxin.
A lecture on high definition VASER techniques by Dr Ravi Jain. Other speakers included Professor Syed Haq, Mr Dalvi Humzah, Mr Paul Banwell, Dr Toni Phillips, Dr Robin Stones, Elliot Isaacs, Ita Murphy, Tarryn Van Toppel, Mr Chris Inglefield, James Lamper, Dr Stephen Bassett and a talk on cosmeceuticals by Dr Michael Prager.
Dr Ayham Al-Ayoubi taking questions from the audiences about the latest generation of Smartlipo Triplex and the latest developments in body sculpting, as well as this a series of exhibitor workshops, live demos and business seminars were running on the exhibition floor.
Education is one of the key focuses of the Cosmetic News Expo and, as such, a conference and workshop programme took place throughout the two-day event.
We believe that education should be available to everyone, no matter what their budget, so we designed an event that allows you to gather knowledge about the latest treatments and developments at the same time as gaining CPD accredited education, as part of our extensive conference and workshop programme, for free.

Cosmetic News Expo 2011 was attended by more than .The show was open to cosmetic doctors, aesthetic nurses, dermatologists, plastic surgeons, cosmetic dentists, aestheticians, practice managers, and other professionals working in the cosmetic medicine business. It was not open to members of the public.
