Aesthetic professionals from more than 30 different countries gathered in Poland to attend the Neauvia Organic dermal filler \u2018New Art Aesthetics\u2019 World Congress on January 29 and 30.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Around 170 aesthetic practitioners, nurses, doctors and distributors met at the Zepter Business Centre in Warsaw for two-days of in-depth learning on the new dermal filler technology from Neauvia Organic. The event began with an introduction to Neauvia Organic, a new line of Swiss dermal fillers developed by Medics Laboratories and manufactured in Italy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The talk discussed how the fillers use a new cross-linker polyethylene glycol (PEG) polymer, which is non-toxic and completely degradable in the tissue, instead of BDDE. According to the company, this makes Neauvia Organic the most biocompatible filler on the market. This PEG polymer aims to reduce the risk of immunological reaction, reduce inflammation and granuloma formation, and delay the degradation and the bioabsorption of the implant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dermatologist Dr Nicola Zerbinati, who ran the event, started working with Neauvia three years ago and said that the product is unique. \u201cWe have created a new concept of filler; we use a new cross-linker that gives us an incredible new hyaluronic acid matrix. It is the only filler in the market with this PEG cross-linker,\u201d he said, adding, \u201cMy patients like the safety and the long lasting affect they can get with this filler.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr Ayham Al-Ayoubi, Facial plastic and laser surgeon has already started using Neauvia in his clinic, The London Medical and Aesthetic Clinic, and said, \u201cI strongly believe that Neauvia will change aesthetic medicine. The radical change with Neauvia is that you are using an organic product, so you don\u2019t have the toxic effects of a chemical substance. It was manufactured in such a way to make it easier to inject. It is definitely an additional product which all cosmetic doctors should add into their portfolio,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eight aesthetic practitioners from various countries presented their experiences of using the four different dermal fillers available for various anatomical areas and treatments, including rhinoplasty, nasolabial fold, lips, jowl line, hand rejuvenation, zygomatic area, periocular area and vaginal rejuvenation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Highlights of the session included Dr Dawid Serafin\u2019s presentation on using Neauvia for vaginal rejuvenation. He provided advice on the depth of injection and the type of Neauvia filler that should be used.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Delegates then engaged in question and answers and asked for advice on points such as what type of Neauvia fillers to use, whether to use a needle or a cannula and how much of the fillers they should be using.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The theory presentations were complemented with a second day of live demonstrations, in which delegates observed the treatment of 55 different models. Dr Katrina Felberg shared advice on peri-ocular treatment techniques, while Dr Peter Caspari demonstrated the use of Neauvia on the nasolabial area. Delegates were impressed with the non-surgical results and his tips on how to avoid the arteries, as well as his advice on the successful management of complications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the live demonstrations, delegates were presented with the before and after images of the models to determine their opinions on the product\u2019s results. Aesthetic practitioner Dr Kathryn-Taylor Barnes, founder of The Real You Clinic said that she was eager to bring this new technology to her clinics, explaining, \u201cI am really excited about the formulation of this product being organic, that appeals to a lot of the modern day men and women because they\u2019re more aware of what they are putting into their body and this is a very clean process. I think it\u2019s a good forward projection that this range is modern and tackling issues that effect us as practitioners and patients.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Neauvia sales director for the UK and Ireland, Kevin Eley recently introduced the dermal fillers to practitioners in January, and said the response has been better than he had hoped. \u201cSafety, longevity and value are very important to physicians and customer alike,\u201d he said. \u201cPhysicians have commented on the superior filling ability of the products and have also been surprised at the smaller levels of pain and swelling with the Neauvia line. This is a new concept in HA fillers and in particular the safety and versatility of PEG, compared to BDDE is raising a lot of eyebrows,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
