From Hollywood starlets to the TOWIE cast to fans watching at home, young women are going under the knife to conform to impossible ideals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr Ayham Al-Ayoubi, Facial Plastic and Laser Surgeon from London Medical and Aesthetic Clinic at 1 Harley street had confirmed that over the last year there was a 38 percent increase in cosmetic and plastic surgery enquires, and claim that young girls show pictures of TOWIE cast to the consultants plastic surgeons in a bid to look just like their idols.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYoung women with images of this Barbie-doll that\u2019s unattainable without nips and tucks. The earlier you start, the more it could become a habit\u201d warns<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt may also be disguising other issues they may have regarding self-esteem. It might also result in depression down the line, or contribute to an addictive personality\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr Ayham Al-Ayoubi confirms that many treatments are not needed and can actually be detrimental.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lauren Goodger had a nose job in 2011 after it was broken in an accident the previous year and she was left with a \u201cnasty\u201d bump. \u201cFrom certain angles, my nose would look really awful and the more I watched the shows, the more of a complex I would get about my appearance,\u201d she says. \u201cI do feel prettier and sexier now.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Like all girls, it seems that Strictly Come Dancing’s Chelsee Healey has body hang-ups. Despite looking amazing on the show each week, the Waterloo Road actress has admitted that she’s insecure and regrets having a boob job.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chelsee Healey had the surgery when she was 19, to take her from a 32C to a DD. However, four years on, she’s unhappy with her decision to go under the knife.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Breast Augmentation: Chelsee Healey revealed: “I was young and if it was a decision I was making now, I wouldn’t have gone through with it. Not now I’m older and a bit wiser. I feel they’re a bit too big and I’ve only got a little frame.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr Ayham Al-Ayoubi said: “luckily she doesn’t feel herself under any pressure to have more cosmetic surgery, which could have a negative impact on her beauty”. Chelsee herself said: “There’s nothing else I feel like I need or want to do.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As is the case with Halle Berry plastic surgery rumours, Megan Fox has denied that she\u2019s had any sort of cosmetic procedures done on herself and that her good looks and body are the same ones she was born with.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Of course it is expected in Hollywood for celebrities to deny any plastic surgery, especially plastic surgery gone wrong, so the assumption is often guilty till proven innocent. But just what is Megan Fox supposed to have had done, exactly?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Many of the rumours start out with the gateway drug of plastic surgery, Anti-wrinkle injections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr Ayham Al-Ayoubi explains: These injections smooth out the upper part of the face by putting a small amount of neurotoxin into the muscles to relax them and to reduce wrinkles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beyond that though accusations raise the stakes, claiming that Fox has gotten breast implants, a\u00a0rhinoplasty<\/a>\u00a0(more commonly referred to as a nice job), and that her lips have been filled using materials like Restylene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And just what has Fox had to say to all this? She has denied and denounced the rumours, but in a display of a celebrity throwing back at least one of the accusations she created a photo series on her Facebook page entitled \u201cThings You Can\u2019t Do With Your Face When You Have Anti-wrinkle injections.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr Ayham Al-Ayoubi was asked to comment on series of photos showing Megan Fox making a number of facial expressions that lead to a wrinkled forehead and raised eyebrows, things that are hard to do once the Anti-wrinkle injections had really settle down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So while a series of photographs may have debunked one accusation, just what do various celebrity photographs say about the other plastic surgery rumours flying around regarding Megan Fox and her possible visits to a plastic surgeon?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the recent London premiere of Breaking Dawn, stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were outshined by Lauren Pope. The Only Way Is Essex star isn\u2019t in the movie, but she sure knows how to make an appearance, thanks to plenty of plastic surgery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

28-year old model and star of TOWIE Lauren Pope caught the lens of even American paparazzi at the London Breaking Dawn premiere, when she wore a gown split all the way up the side, revealing a distinct lack of undergarments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The gown also revealed Lauren\u2019s fondness for plastic surgery, including the results she got after breast augmentation. Lauren has also had nose jobs in the past, she famously had at the same time with an ex-boyfriend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr Ayham Al-Ayoubi says, \u201cLauren Pope appears to have had several cosmetic procedures including Anti-wrinkle injections and fillers throughout her face and clearly her nose (Rhinoplasty)and a Breast Augmentation.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lauren looks good now, but if she carries on with her plastic surgery, she may end up with some less than good results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A look at Lindsay Lohan’s face reveals some pretty drastic changes in recent years. But did the actress get plastic surgery, or is it just a result of age?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 25-year-old’s new look has sparked speculation from experts that she’s substituted an alcohol and drug addiction for a plastic surgery addiction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr Ayham Al-Ayoubi said: “She appears to have a classic, over-plumped pillow face. Her cheeks look like she’s storing nuts. I suspect she’s undergone multiple injections of filler.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No one’s as fresh-faced as they were 5-6 years earlier, but aging doesn’t just change the general contours of one’s face.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr Ayham Al-Ayoubi said that, when some people think plastic surgery, Kim Kardashian is one of the celebrities that immediately jumps to mind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kim, on the surface at least, seems like one of those plastic surgery celebrities whose famous just for the media frenzy surrounding her mother, her stepfather and of course her sisters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr Ayham Al-Ayoubi explains: An exotic blend of Armenian and Scottish heritage, she possesses a unique look that she has used to her advantage becoming a model, a fashion fixture and later on an actress and a hostess.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since she relies so heavily on her looks though, many are bound to ask whether Kim has gotten any cosmetic work done?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are a lot of rumours flying, both online and in the tabloids, about the work that Kim Kardashian is supposed to have had done on herself. Everything from face surgery, a nose job, what professionals refer to as a rhinoplasty, to breast implants to chemical peels,\u00a0Anti-wrinkle injections and even butt implants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But most fans, or just those who accuse Kim Kardashian of going under the knife, will use the tried and true method of comparing photographs from one year to a photograph in the past to point out how she\u2019s physically changed as evidence of plastic surgery procedures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr Ayham Al-Ayoubi said: “In regards to cosmetic surgery, Of course, it is important that you keep an open mind since if you\u2019re sure something is there you\u2019re going to end up seeing it even if no one else does”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also, the human body changes over time and even if a person is recognizable, they aren\u2019t going to look like the same person they were even a few years ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr Ayham Al-Ayoubi said: Glamour model Maria Fowler is one of the most slender stars of ITV2\u2019s hit programme The Only Way Is Essex. She has always worked hard to maintain her slim figure, and earlier last year she attended a boot camp in a bid to shed a few excess pounds. Maria was clearly thrilled with the result of the intensive workout plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
