A Day In The Life Of Simon Cowell

Daily Mirror

Until yesterday and an encounter with a length of rubber hose, I thought colonic irrigation was a modern farming method.

But it’s one of many bizarre (and expensive) health and beauty treatments that Simon Cowell has on a regular basis to fight the ravages of time and his hectic tycoon lifestyle.

And yes, you guessed it, I was given the job of testing them out. As Mario Balotelli would say: Why always me?

I left the office clinging to the vain hope that a hosepipe ban and water shortage would spare me the indignity. No such luck.

So read on to see whether these treatments have the X Factor.. or get a NO from me.

Botox

Injections of Botox into the face to reduce the appearance of frown lines.

WHAT HE DOES

He is quoted as telling friends: “It simply works. Who cares? And it balances my smoking and drinking.”

THE REALITY

I hate needles but I have a consultation with Harley Street’s Dr Ayham Al-Ayoubi.

Dr Ayham Al-Ayoubi, says Botox is more popular with men, thanks to the likes of Simon. He shows me where he would insert the needle and offers me a trial, I say no but the photographer seems keen. There might be a bit of Cowell in us all.
