Vaser Lipo Clinic London

Vaser, known as Vaser Lipo or Ultrasonic lipo, is a minimally invasive and precise type of liposuction, which uses an ultrasound technology targeting selective fatty areas.

The Ultrasound technology can fracture a large quantity of fat can and can help reshaping the treated areas. It is usually a one-off treatment.

Ultrasonic liposuction can be carried out under local anaesthetic, IV sedation or under light general anaesthetic as a day case procedure with minimum downtime and quick recovery.

Treated Areas

Vaser lipo removes fat from all areas of the body using ultrasound energy, precisely targeting the fat tissue. The most commonly treated areas include:

  • Chest
  • Abdomen
  • Hips
  • Buttocks
  • Calves
  • Neck
  • Arms
  • Inner and outer Thighs

VASER Liposuction procedure should be done in a sterile surgical theatre, under local or general anaesthetic as a day case surgery in most of the cases and depending on the individual, it is usually a one-off treatment.

Vaser Lipo Technology

There are many different terms for the various lipo or Liposuction techniques available at our  clinic in London, such as Bodyjet Lipo, Tumescent Laser Lipo, SmartLipo, Waterjet Lipo, BodyTite Lipo, Cellulaze and others.

Vaser Lipo is one of the techniques of fat removal, which involves melting fat with an Ultra sound probe which goes under the skin, with aspiration of the broken fat.

It generally takes 2-3 months to see the results and the fat reduction is often minimal to medium and to give the best results, most of the patients require a course of 4-6 sessions of radiofrequency to give skin tightening, hence, the Vaser alone has very limited ability to tighten the skin.

Vaser Liposuction uses an ultrasound technology designed to selectively remove fat and help reshape the body. The Vaser Lipo procedure is powerful enough to tackle some areas of fat, such as the tummy, flanks or thighs, also, Vaser can be used to remove fat from the neck.

Diet

Stay hydrated: Drink plenty of water in the days leading up to surgery. Proper hydration is crucial for overall health and it can help with the healing process after treatment.
Follow a balanced diet: Focus on a well-balanced diet to provide essential nutrients for optimal recovery. Avoid extreme or restrictive diets leading up to the procedure to maintained a healthy nutritional intake for overall health.

Limit sodium intake: High sodium intake can contribute to water retention and swelling.
Protein rich foods: Adequate protein is important for tissue repair and lean protein is an important part of the diet.
Vitamins and minerals: Ensuring there are sufficient intake of vitamins and minerals is important for wound healing.
Fiber rich foods support digestion and can help to alleviate any constipation caused by anaesthesia.

Stop Smoking

It’s important to avoid smoking before and after undergoing any surgical procedure including Vaper Liposuction. Smoking can increase the risks of complications and impact the healing process. Here are some reasons it’s important to avoid smoking:
Reduced blood flow: Smoking constricts blood vessels and reduces blood flow. Adequate blood flow is crucial for delivering oxygen to tissue which is essential for healing.
Delayed wound healing: Smoking is known to impair wound healing. Nicotine can interfere with the formation of new blood vessels and collagen which are essential for tissue repair.
Increased risk of infection: Smoking compromises the immune system making individuals more susceptible to infections.
Risk of complications: Smoking is associated with an increased risk of complications after surgery, including the formation of blood clots and infection.

Avoid Alcohol

Blood thinning: Alcohol has blood thinning effects which can increase the risk of bleeding during and after surgery.
