London Medical and Aesthetic Clinic prides itself on being the very first leading clinic to introduce the revolutionary BodyTite to the UK, brought by Mr Ayham Al-Ayoubi in 2009.
BodyTite – Radiofrequency-assisted liposuction – is an innovative and major advancement in the field of body contouring, body sculpting, and liposuction. It is suitable for men and women who have unwanted fat in targeted areas.
BodyTite liposuction is a minimally invasive lipolysis technique designed to melt away fat deposits from any part of the body. This technique is also effective for skin tightening.
BodyTite is a body remodelling surgical procedure that removes unwanted fat cells, re-contours the area, and simultaneously firms the skin.
BodyTite – A Revolution in Body Contouring
According to Mr Ayham Al-Ayoubi, BodyTite has revolutionised the world of body contouring surgery by using radiofrequency technology in combination with liposuction to effectively remove unhealthy and unwanted fat from various parts of the body. The technique ensures excellent skin tightening results and is performed under local or general anaesthesia.
Radiofrequency-Assisted Liposuction (RFAL) is carried out using the innovative Invasix BodyTite system, which consists of a bipolar radiofrequency handpiece and an RFAL computer device.
BodyTite can be performed on the stomach, love handles, legs, thighs, saddle bags, neck, arms, calves, and other trouble areas. Having performed thousands of BodyTite procedures at his clinic in London, Mr Ayham Al-Ayoubi is the foremost expert in this treatment.

BodyTite works best on large areas of fat that can be quickly liquefied and easily removed.
The BodyTite device uses multiple cannulas to extract the fatty tissue from under the skin, and works with a set of electrodes that simultaneously aspirate the coagulated tissue and heat up the soft tissues around the treated area. Once the fat is liquefied, it is extracted immediately and the heat helps to tighten and shape the body.
The BodyTite procedure gently melts and removes excess fat through a tiny incision. Pre-melting the fat is far less traumatic than traditional liposuction, significantly reducing the risk of post-procedure pain, discomfort, and swelling.
The heat generated by the high-frequency current during the process boosts collagen production, leading to skin tightening. This unique heating process is both gentle and precise, with a device that automatically switches off if the temperature fluctuates above or below the optimal skin-tightening range.
The radio-frequency energy travels from an internal electrode, which simultaneously aspirates the coagulated tissue, to an external electrode, resulting in the coagulation of adipose, vascular, and fibrous tissue, as well as heating the entire soft-tissue matrix.
The coagulated and liquefied tissue is aspirated, while heating of the soft tissue matrix and subdermal tissue results in significant body tightening and recontouring.
Advantages of BodyTite
Using BodyTite RFAL has benefits such as speedy treatment, considerably less tissue trauma, coagulation of blood vessels, controlled administering of energy, careful monitoring of skin temperature, and even heating of the skin and the subcutaneous layer.
Utilising a highly sensitive computerized monitoring system, BodyTite is able to adjust the intensity of energy used in response to bodily reactions. Multiple cannulas are used to quickly and effectively extract unwanted fat, leaving other cells and tissue undisturbed. It is this unique technique that leads plastic surgeons to claim that BodyTite is one of the safest liposuction treatments available so far.
Controlling the amount of energy used to target and destroy fat cells in response to skin temperature and other factors means that blood loss due to the damaging of blood vessels is minimized and the risk of uncomfortable bruising and swelling post procedure is reduced.
Visible results are seen immediately with suction. However, it will take 8 – 12 weeks post-treatment to start seeing significant results of the treatment. If large amounts of fat are to be removed, a stepped programme will probably be advised to allow for gradual reshaping. Fat can be removed from almost any part of the body.
For most patients, one treatment per body area is all that is normally required. The procedure itself takes approximately 1-2 hours, but this depends on the treatment area and the degree of complexity. Unlike traditional liposuction methods, it offers advantages in terms of safety and comfort.
The BodyTite procedure uses patented RFAL technology to gently melt and remove excess fat through a tiny incision in an inconspicuous location. By pre-melting the fat, the removal is a far less traumatic process, greatly reducing post-procedural pain, swelling and discomfort.
It comes with many advanced safety features that physicians demand the most. Considered an excellent pain-free alternative to traditional liposuction, BodyTite can effectively remove the surplus fat cells and at the same time provide admirable skin tightening results – all with less downtime and minimal side effects.
The recovery time for BodyTite Radiofrequency assisted liposuction procedure is much shorter. Patients can return to daily routines and activities within a few days and gym activities within a week or two. BodyTite is a procedure to remove excess fat, and to tighten the skin to improve the look of the treated area. It is not a weight reducing technique
BodyTite Safety
BodyTite was approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) – USA, in 2008 and the Medicines and Health Care Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) – UK in June 2009.
The BodyTite features an extremely intelligent design and has many safety features, such as: closed loop skin temperature and impedance monitoring, external electrode contact control, internal power calibration and monitoring and anti-carbonization cannula protection.
RFAL has benefits such as speedy treatment, considerably less tissue trauma, coagulation of blood vessels, controlled administering of energy, careful monitoring of skin temperature, and even heating of the skin and the subcutaneous layer, all of which make it superior to other Liposuction procedures
Mr Ayham Al-Ayoubi explains that Bodytite is a radiofrequency surgical procedure and like any other radio-frequency surgical treatments it could have some side effects and complications and it’s the duty of the Surgeon to minimise the side effects, possible risks and complications of the procedure, however, they cannot be eleminated .
The very rare possible side effects and complications which have been been reported and patients must be aware of them.
Those possible complications include small haematomas which are usually reabsorbed. Large haematomas are very rare and may need further surgery. Seroma, a collection of fluid in the treated areas (extremely rare to happen) which may need aspiration. Also, infection may occur, which may require antibiotics treatment.
Bruising and skin discoloration are rare and will last for a few days or weeks. The excessive tightness and bloating are not common they usually temporary. Also, temporary lumps under the skin have been reported but these limps will resolve in 2-3 months.
