Cryolipolysis or Fat Freezing is a non-invasive, safe fat removal procedure, it is known by many different names including Cryo Lipo, Ice Liposuction, Cryogenic Lipolysis.
Fat-freezing treatment can reduce stubborn body fat that is difficult to lose by diet and exercise alone, using the controlled cooling process of cryolipolysis to target and crystallize fat cells.
With Cryolipolysis, fat cells are permanently destroyed due to the cooling of subcutaneous fat, which induces lipolysis, the breaking down of the fat cells.
The Technology
This novel non-invasive technology uses controlled cold exposure to influence a gradual reduction of the subcutaneous fat layer using natural thermal diffusion.
The fat is cooled to a controlled temperature resulting in the fat cells to crystallise and die, without causing damage to any of the surrounding tissues, nerves or the skin.
Results can start to be seen in as little as three weeks from the first treatment, further and improved results can be seen when the body naturally processes the fat and eliminates these fat cells through the lymphatic system. This process continues for up to six months.
