Someone may at some point have told you that things like cellulite, saggy skin, and wrinkles are all a natural part of life. But of course that doesn’t mean we have to like it. Face lifts, tummy tucks, and even neck lifts are all permanent surgical solutions to some of the problems that plague women.
But what about cellulite?
Topical creams that are more gimmick than treatment, and unpleasant-sounding procedures that use things like “rolling and suction” – these are the options at hand. Not to mention the monthly, even weekly sessions some treatments require.
Well, thanks to science, there is a permanent solution for cellulite; it’s called Cellulaze laser,which was introduced into the UK by Dr Ayham Al-Ayoubi in 2011.
Cynosure, a corporation that makes laser cosmetic used in a variety of procedures, has developed Cellulaze laser, a new laser approach to the treatment of cellulite.
Dr Ayham Al Ayoubi explains: Cellulaze Laser is the World’s First Aesthetic Laser device with minimally invasive surgical approach to attack cellulite beneath the surface of the skin for the long-term reduction of cellulite.
The treatment uses Thermaguide, an intelligent energy delivery system with temperature sensors, which not only allows physicians to maintain even, controlled flows of laser energy, but also helps to accurately determine the safest and most effective dosage.
How Cellulaze laser procedure Is Performed?
Dr Ayham Al-Ayoubi explains: Cellulaze is a minimally invasive surgery performed under local anesthetic or light IV sedation. Though the word “surgery” can be scary, the procedure involves a tiny tube the width of a pen tip. This tube, called a cannula, contains a thin fiber through which a pulsed laser is transmitted.
The cannula is inserted under the skin, and the laser travels through the fiber and delivers 1440-nm energy to the subdermal tissue of the buttocks and thighs. This is known as side-firing, for which Cynosure has developed a specific technology, the Advanced SideLight 3D.
Results From Cellulaze Laser!
Cellulaze:
The laser is able to decrease the size of the lumpy fat pockets under the skin – the structures that are the foundation of cellulite – and release the depressed skin around the pockets, all the while increasing the skin’s thickness and elasticity. The tissue tightens through coagulation, and the regeneration of collagen and connective tissue increase thickness and elasticity.
Results Of the clinical Trials –
With all its fancy technology, Cellulaze might just sound like the next new gimmick or advertisement trick. But in reality, the procedure has scientifically proven results.
Trials conducted have used objective means of determining results. For example, in addition to the usual photographic evaluations (think the “before” and “after” pictures you see in commercials all too often), ultrasounds were used to determine changes in skin thickness. 3D surface imaging scans showed the skin’s topography before and after treatment.
In one clinical trial, 68% of patients saw significant improvements, with an overall 76% of patients having good to excellent results. One study reported a 23% increase in skin thickness and a 32.5% increase in skin elasticity after just one month. Patients and physicians alike have been highly satisfied with the results and have reported minimal side effects.
Dr Ayham Al-Ayoubi explains:The improvements were shown to continue after three, six, and even twelve months. Longer studies are needed to determine the full longevity of the results, but from the looks of it, Cellulaze is in a position to serve as a permanent treatment for cellulite.
