Sculptra Butt Lift

London’s Leading Sculptra Buttock Lift Clinic

We pride ourselves in being the leading Sculptra Butt Lift clinic in the UK. Dr Ayham Al-Ayoubi is a leading Sculptra training Surgeon and he is an internationally recognised expert in this procedure with thousands of Sculptra treatments carried out for more than 20 years.

At the London Medical and Aesthetic Clinic, we now offer patients a minimally invasive buttock lift option. This gives a natural lift and leaves no scarring. The doctor gives a naturally enhanced look rather than completely altering the buttock shape. This ensures the buttock is not over filled or ‘fake’ looking. This is especially beneficial for the buttock area, where a slight enhancement and ‘lift’ can pose a huge improvement to a person’s figure.

There has been an increase in non-invasive and non-surgical options used to treat almost any area of the body, and therefore patients now do not need to go under the knife.
As of recent years, the only options for augmenting the buttock were butt implants or a Brazilian Butt Lift; both invasive surgical procedures with higher risk and possible complications associated with the procedures. There is now a new butt lift solution gaining popularity which doesn’t involve surgery, known as the “Sculptra Butt Lift”.

Not everyone is born with a round, full buttock, which is why experienced plastic surgeons are offering a number of options to help patients attain the curvy buttock which they desire. Introducing buttock augmentation (a nonsurgical butt lift) with Sculptra Aesthetic, an injectable product made from poly-L-lactic acid that can be used in the face and other areas of the body that are lacking volume.

Dr Ayham Al-Ayoubi offers customized non-surgical butt lift treatment plans using Sculptra for patients who desire plumping to the buttock area. He has perfected the Sculptra injection technique and continues to teach his technique to other plastic surgeons globally. Sculptra can be used to smooth cellulite, enhance skin texture, lift the buttock, enhance volume in the buttock area and assist with filling out “hip-dips”.

Most of our Sculptra butt lift patients either do not have enough fat to use for a traditional Brazilian butt lift procedure or they do not wish to have implants. Using Sculptra to add volume and fill the buttock is a great option for many patients. This treatment is long-lasting but may require multiple treatments to attain the desired result.

Sculptra Butt Lift Suitability

Collagen Stimulation is suitable for both men and women and it can help with deep indentation, hollow areas, cellulite, deep scars, loose skin, and enhancing the quality and texture of the skin and to increase volume in a natural and gradual way.

Sculptra is a unique collagen stimulator, and it is suitable for patients who desire to have:
• An increase the volume, size or roundness of the buttock without undergoing surgery
• Long term results which last up to two to five years
• Bring proportion and contouring to the buttock area
• A subtle lift to the buttock area
•  Improve the texture of the buttock, as Sculptra can help to reduce the appearance of stretchmarks and cellulite

A review at our clinic has shown that the improvements obtained with Collagen Stimulation have lasted up to 2-5 years. Treatment usually consists of 2 to 4 sessions, performed within 20 – 40 minutes, with a 2-3 weeks gap between the sessions with no ‘downtime’.

Sculptra treatment is an excellent choice in enhancing the buttock in a natural way. This treatment stimulates the patient’s own natural collagen production, and therefore rejuvenates and boosts the buttock. Collagen Stimulation is a long lasting, clinically proven, non-invasive, stimulating injectable treatment that is designed to smooth out and soften lines and wrinkles, restore volume and contour in a natural way.

The Sculptra Butt Lift is a unique utilization of Sculptra that is used to stimulate collagen-growth and thicken the skin using micro-invasive injections just below the skin.
It can be difficult to drastically alter the size and shape of the buttock using only diet or exercise, and each patient is limited by genetics with the results that are achievable.

In addition, dieting cannot “target” specific areas of the body. Although exercise is important for maintaining a healthy lifestyle, increasing the muscle mass of the buttock with squats or lunges can be time consuming and results can take a long time to show. Therefore many people choose to bring proportion, shape, and enhancement to their body through the use of the Sculptra butt lift procedure.

Collagen Stimulation is a biocompatible, resorbable injectable product composed of poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA). It falls in the class of a stimulatory product that creates its effect through encouraging neocollagenesis when injected. Collagen Stimulation is a synthetic polymer from the a-hydroxyl-acid family that is similar to absorbable suture material.

When Sculptra is injected into the skin, our body reacts to the PLLA microparticles by initiating the creation of collagen. Over time, collagen production in the injected area becomes more voluminous, causing the skin to plump out. Over time, the PLLA microparticles are metabolized and converted into carbon dioxide and water, which the body then simply expels through the respiratory system harmlessly.

With time our skin loses its full, firm, youthful appearance and becomes thinner and starts to lose fat, causing skin to sag and lose volume. Sculptra is designed to increase volume, making it ideal to plump up your buttock and make the area perkier without surgery. It is also effective in minimizing contour irregularities to smooth away undesirable ripples on your buttock and cellulite.

Sculptra helps the skin build its own collagen. This can plump up the thin and sagging skin caused by aging. Patients travel from all over the UK and from around the world to have Dr Ayham Al-Ayoubi perform Sculptra – Collagen Stimulation treatment at the London Medical and Aesthetic Clinic, which is one of the leading training centres for Collagen Stimulation treatment in the UK and Europe.

Sculptra Buttock Lift Treatment

To prepare the product, the doctor will dilute the Sculptra with sterile water, encouraging a good amount of spread, and reducing the likelihood of lumps. The water gives an instant but momentary boost, which dwindles within a a day or two. It then takes the particles of poly-l-lactic acid within the suspension 1 to 2 weeks to construct the scaffolding needed to grow new collagen in the area. The Poly-L-Lactic Acid triggers fibroblasts to build collagen around it. While patients may notice some degree of change immediately, nevertheless, the results continue to improve and much more noticeable definition will start to show after 2 – 3 weeks. The full effect of the treatment can take up to three – six months to show significantly.

During the procedure the buttock will be marked while standing to indicate the areas to be treated, and pre-treatment pictures will be taken. The patient will then be made to lie on the treatment table. The area which will be treated will be cleansed and a topical aesthetic or numbing cream will be applied to decrease any discomfort.

Once the numbing cream has taken effect the patient will be injected with the pre-mixed Sculptra to the targeted areas. It will take multiple injections to get the Sculptra adequately dispersed in the targeted areas. Once the treatment is completed, firm massaging will be carried out on the buttock by the clinic assistants to ensure the product is evenly distributed.

The majority of patients require only 1 – 2 sessions, however, some patients might need 3-4 sessions of Sculptra for the buttock area to see a significant enhancement and definition as every patient is very individual and depending on the results the patient desires to achieve. Most of the patients can achieve a 40 up to 80 percent increase in size and definition, and this is dependent on the individual patients needs.  Although some results will be seen immediately, optimal results are seen after the course of recommended treatments have been completed.

 Sculptra Butt Lift Safety

The science behind Sculptra Collagen Stimulation involves more than 50 years of use in human medical applications. From absorbable sutures to resorbable screws, it has proven to be biocompatible, well tolerated, and effective.

Sculptra is a natural product which is bio-compatible and thus resolvable. The human body produces lactic acid naturally, and therefore it is safe to be injected. Sculptra treatment is an effective method for long-term correction of volume depreciation, aging skin, loss of tissue and loss of collagen, giving natural looking results.

Sculptra Aesthetic (injectable poly-L-lactic acid) is suitable for use on people with healthy immune systems as a single regimen for the correction of shallow to deep contour deficiencies and other facial wrinkles in which deep dermal grid pattern (cross-hatch) injection technique is appropriate. Safety has not been established in patients who are pregnant, lactating, breastfeeding, or under 18 years of age.

Collagen Stimulation is officially approved by MHRA in the UK and the FDA in the USA and for restoration and/or correction of the signs of facial fat loss (lipoatrophy) and is used for treating facial lines and wrinkles.

Rare Possible Side Effects
Immediate side effects may include injection-related events at the site of injection, such as minimum redness, slight tenderness or discomfort, some bruising or swelling. All of these immediate side effects usually last only five – seven days.
A delayed appearance of small bumps under the skin in the treated area could occur. Generally, these bumps are not visible and may only be noticed when pressing on the treated area. This rare side effect is usually an effect of the product being injected too superficially causing a lump of product or collagen to form, but vigorous massage usually prevents this.

Results
The patient will not notice the full effect immediately, so it is not instant gratification. The process of creating volume takes up to 6 months in its entirety, however, early results can be seen in as little as 2 weeks. Generally, each patient needs three sessions of Sculptra. Over the course of the treatments, the patient will notice gradual correction and improvement of his or her contours.
Following each injection, the patient is advised to perform post procedure massaging at home. At the London Medical and Aesthetic Clinic, we include this as part of the treatment once the injections have been completed, so that the product is distributed evenly. This process will help to accelerate the results, as well as ensure the area is smooth and no lumps form. It is recommended that the patient continues to massage the area firmly for 5-10 days to ensure optimal results.

Patient Expectations

It’s imperative that patients understand the scientific mechanism of Sculptra prior to treatment. Stimulatory products such as Sculptra must be administered in sessions and gradually introduced to the body. Sculptra is conducted in 2- 4 sessions covering a 2-3-month period. Optimum results can be achieved over a 4 – 6-month period.

The volume of water is used to suspend the Sculptra product, therefore patients can leave the clinic feeling volume has increased in the buttock. Patients should understand that this immediate improvement will subside within 2-4 days and that patients must then wait for collagen stimulation to commence from between week 2–4.
Patients must also appreciate that as the product is injected, bruising may occur. If this is the case, bruising will typically last for 2-4 days. Patients should avoid taking any non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medications during this period.

Once a patient is happy with the buttock volumisation achieved, results can be expected to last 2-5 years. To maintain this desired effect, touch-up procedures might be advised for certain individuals. Non-smoking patients have longer lasting results, as smoking reduces the blood supply to the skin and dehydrates the skin throughout the collagen stimulation process.

Sculptra Vs Traditional Dermal Fillers
Sculptra is different from traditional dermal fillers as it replenishes collagen within the skin, rather than ‘filling’ the area.
Sculptra does not provide immediate results like traditional fillers but causes collagen stimulation and growth of fibrous tissue gradually, thus restoring volume over time. The volume which is restored is the body’s own response to the product, so the results are more natural.
Traditional dermal fillers tend to require top ups or revision every 6-12 months, whereas the results of Sculptra can last between 2 and 5 years, thus this treatment is more cost-effective and easier to maintain for a patient.

Sculptra Butt Lift FAQS

It is common for patients to have questions about the medical treatments, and at the London Medical and Aesthetic Clinic it is important to us that all our patients feel confident, knowledgeable and comfortable at every stage of their journey of their treatments at our clinic.

To help our patients to find the answers they need, here are a few of the most common questions which are frequently asked:

What is Sculptra Butt Lift ?

Sculptra Buttock enhancement is a very popular treatment, which was developed by Dr Ayham Al-Ayoubi who has performed hundreds of treatments at the London Medical and Aesthetic Clinic.
It is ideal for patients who have a desire to achieve a more defined natural-looking buttock. The treatment is non-invasive and painless with results lasting up to 2-5 years.

Sculptra is classed as a collagen stimulator that provides long-lasting, natural-looking results. Sculptra is safe and effective as it is a natural product which is totally biodegradable. Sculptra treatment is an effective method for long-term correction of volume depreciation, by creating natural results.

Can I achieve a Butt lifting effect with Sculptra?

Sculptra is a natural product, which can deliver a lifting effect without the need for surgery as it adds volume to specific areas of the face or butt where patients lost a significant amount of collagen, fat and soft tissue. As Sculptra is a natural bio-stimulator, it improves the texture and restores a youthful glow to the skin.

How does Sculptra Butt lift work?

Sculptra works by stimulating patients’ own collagen and it helps to improve hallow areas of the face/décolleté and to enhance the buttock shape/volume, resulting in a naturally enhanced result.

How long does Sculptra Butt Lift result last?

The Sculptra results usually last between 2 – 5 years. Patients who have 2 – 4 sessions of Sculptra treatments, with intervals of 3-4-week gap between sessions, demonstrate signs of breaking down the Sculptra at around 9 – 12 months post the course of treatment. Clinical studies have repeatedly indicated that the effects of Sculptra treatment can last for up to 2 – 5 years.

Is there downtime with a Sculptra Butt Lift?

The patient can resume everyday activities following the treatment. Although the treatment area may feel slightly tender and there may be some bruising, there is no “recovery time” following the Sculptra Butt Lift procedure. Any bruising that occurs should usually dissipate within 4 days.
In order to ensure the best results are achieved, the patient should massage the treatment area for 5 minutes in the morning and 5 minutes in the evening with Aloe Vera gel for 5-7 days.
Once the treatment plan is complete, patients are free to enjoy their Sculptra Butt Lift results. Most patients see a subtle but significant lift of the buttock after the first or second injection session, making the butt appear more youthful, contoured, and proportionate to the rest of the body.

 Is Sculptra a dermal filler?

No. Sculptra is the ultimate stimulator of collagen, which works directly within the skin itself. It is made from Poly-L-lactic acid, which is a natural product produced in the muscles.

What are the possible side effects of Sculptra Butt Lift ?

The side effects of Sculptra treatment are very rare, especially if the treatment is performed by an experienced plastic surgeon. The rare side effects include tenderness, redness, bruising and swelling.

One of the very rare side effects of Sculptra treatment is the formation of the small lumps under the skin, nevertheless, this rare side effect can be eliminated by injecting the Sculptra correctly deep into the skin and followed by a delicate but firm massaging of the treated areas immediately after the injection and patients should continue massaging the treated areas of the face twice a day for 5 days.

Will exercise affect a Sculptra Butt Lift?

Exercise will not affect your Sculptra treatment. However, it is recommended that patients avoid exercise for 1-2 days after treatment to minimise the risk of bruising.

Can I get Sculptra after Brazilian Buttock Lift?

Patients can have Sculptra after Brazilian Buttock lift, but they need to see an experienced plastic surgeon in Sculptra buttock treatment. There should be no concerns, as the Sculptra should not have a negative impact on the Brazilian buttock lift and it could be even be helpful to stimulate collagen deep in the dermis, which will improve the texture of the skin if needed.

Can Sculptra Butt Lift fix uneven buttock after Cellfina?

Rippling and dents in buttocks after Cellfina treatment for cellulite are uncommon complications. Sculptra treatment could help to correct the indentations and the deflated areas. Also, the patient will require few sessions and a lot of Sculptra product to achieve the correction of the dents, rippling and the deflated areas.
