We pride ourselves in being one of the leading clinics in advanced Mesotherapy treatments in the UK & Europe.
Mesotherapy is a natural, non-invasive injection treatment, widely used to nourish, hydrate and rejuvenate the skin, stimulating collagen and elastin production.
Mesotherapy delivers vitamins, amino-acids, minerals, hyaluronic acid and all essential components for healthy skin cells into the mesoderm, or middle layer of skin. This treatment helps improve dull, tired looking skin, superficial wrinkles and is ideal for pre or post-operative skin conditioning.
Cutting-Edge Technology
Mesotherapy involves a series of superficial injections are done by hand or with an injection device delivering rapid injections for larger areas.
We pride ourselves to be the very first clinic to introduce the revolutionary Teosyal Pen for Mesotherapy and Dermal Filler treatment into the UK by Dr Ayham Al-Ayoubi.
Teosyal Pen from Juvaplus, is the first worldwide motorized and cordless device specially created to inject hyaluronic acid in order to correct wrinkles and depressions.
Mesotherapy Use
Skin Rejuvenation
Mesotherapy is most commonly used to rejuvenate skin on the face, neck, décolletage and hands.
Many people notice that their skin starts to lose its definition and youthful appearance over time. This is generally a result of fat built up, damage from factors such as sunlight as well as the skin losing its elasticity.
Mesotherapy aims to rejuvenate the face and neck through the injection of certain amino acids and antioxidants. These seem to work in the body by removing excess fat, tightening up the skin and eliminating the results of skin damage.
The treatment stimulates the middle layer of the skin allowing it to produce more collagen to:
- Help to rejuvenate tired or dull skin
- Reduce fine lines and wrinkles
- Reduce the appearance of scars
- Produce glowing, healthy skin
Mesotherapy can also be used for other aesthetic and medical concerns.
Mesotherapy aims to inject i medicines, vitamins and minerals as close as possible to the area of the body which requires treatment. Its use in aesthetic medicine has proven to be incredibly effective. This is due to the fact that Mesotherapy treats layers of the skin which are barely penetrated by other non-invasive treatments. The French Academy of Medicine recognized Mesotherapy as a Specialty of Medicine in 1987 following its development by the French Doctor Michel Pistor in 1952.
The word ‘meso’ refers to the Greek term for ‘middle’, and in this instance refers to the mesoderm which is the embryonal tissue that appears in the third week of embryonic development of the human body and which later forms the skin and the connective tissue.
Vitamin cocktails which contain hyaluronic acid are effective in rejuvenation of the skin and demonstrate optimum results. One inject into the dermalepidermal junction or the superficial dermis, exogenous hyaluronic acid is able to reach the dermis.
As a result, reconstruction of the extracellular matrix occurs. This hydrates the skin and increases skin’s elasticity. This encourages the minimisation of fine wrinkles and gives a youthful, glowing appearance to the skin’s texture.
Skin naturally contains the main supply of hyaluronic acid as it is a key component of the extracellular matrix. Hyaluronic acid acts as a molecular sponge i.e. it has hygroscopic properties. This enables its water-holding capacity, allowing skin tissues to remain hydrated.
Through injecting small quantities of homeopathic agents, vitamins and natural extracts into the problem areas Mesotherapy is an excellent corrective and preventative form of treatment for the following:
• Skin Rejuvenation
• Photo-protection of skin
• Skin lifting
• Anti free radical action
• Increasing in the production of skin matrix proteins (e.g. by administering amino acids or synthetic peptides)
• Skin Whitening action
• Increase of firmness of skin and skin elasticity
• Deep hydration of skin
• Anti-ageing treatment for skin
• Cellulite minimization
• Prevention of hair loss
• Minimization of stretch marks
Hair Loss
Mesotherapy can be used to aid hair restoration. Using a formulation of vitamins, DHT blockers and minerals, injections are administer directly into the scalp to stimulate the circulation of blood, replacing lost vitamins and minerals and allowing the hair follicles to rejuvenate.
Reduce Appearance of Cellulite
There are a number of causes that lie behind cellulite, including hormonal imbalance and bad circulation. The extent of the condition can be categorised into four different phases depending on how it currently appears whilst you are in different positions (lying down, standing and if you pinch the skin).
Mesotherapy is often employed in an attempt to eliminate excess fat deposits, improve your circulation as well as making your connective tissue stronger.
Body Sculpting
Mesotherapy can be used in addition to contouring to define the appearance of your legs, arms, hands, back and abdomen. This is possible as some of the amino acid and vitamin ingredients act by tightening up loose skin. The ingredients incorporated into the injection which dissolve any excess fat, further complement this.
Medical Uses
Alternatively, mesotherapy can be used in the treatment of medical conditions. There are a vast number of potential medical uses due to the ability to tailor mesotherapy to an individual patient; these uses include the treatment of:
- Stress
- Spasming muscles
- Reflex sympathetic dystrophy (RSD)
- Osteoarthritis
